It is a simple molecule that is used by the body to form connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments. It is found naturally in high concentrations in joint structures throughout the body. It plays an important role in making glycosaminoglycans and glycoproteins, which are essential building blocks of many parts of your joints, including ligaments, tendons, cartilage and synovial fluid. Although the body makes its own glucosamine, supplements can be helpful in some situations, especially since the natural sources of the substance are inedible. It is an amino sugar polymer, made up of glucuronic acid and galactosamine. It is a major component of the extracellular matrix. It is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints. Hyaluronic Acid , also called hyaluronan, is an anionic, glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout connective, epithelial and neural tissues. It is unique among glycosaminoglycans in that it is non-sulfated. Hyaluronic acid works by acting as a cushion and lubricant in the joints and other tissues. In addition, it might affect the way the body responds to injury.
The loss of hyaluronic acid appears to contribute to joint pain and stiffness of joints. Studies indicate that supplemental hyaluronic acid may coax the joint into increasing its own production of this important substance, which may in turn help to preserve cartilage

Type II Collagen : Type II collagen (CII) is a peptide and a major component of joint cartilage. When taken as a supplement, CII is usually in one of two forms: undenatured or hydrolyzed. Undenatured collagen has been minimally processed at a low temperature to keep its peptides mostly intact. Undenatured CII has been proposed to improve joint pain through an effect on the immune system. More specifically, CII peptides are thought to induce the formation of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in areas of the gut known as Preyer’s patches. These Tregs can enter circulation, where they produce anti-inflammatory compounds (e.g., IL-10), which in theory can inhibit inflammation and tissue damage in joints. The hydrolysis of type II collagen seems to result in the breakdown of the most immunologically active peptides, meaning that the effect of hydrolyzed collagen on joints may not act via this mechanism. However, in higher doses, hydrolyzed CII might improve joint pain by supplying the amino acids used to repair the damaged tissue.

Include high calcium rich foods (beans, milk, cheese, tofu, fish, dry fruits) Eat fresh, alkalizing vegetables and fruits every day, preferably organic. Prefer home made foods over outside foods.
